Abstract
Ptolemy II includes many different models of computation, which are referred to as domains. Models of computation are implemented by defining a domain director. This presentation is a tutorial that describes how to extend domains by writing directors and how to extend the Ptolemy II user interface.

Material from the Ptolemy Tutorial given at the Seventh Biennial Ptolemy Miniconference, Berkeley, CA.
