Abstract
The T-CREST project is developing a time-predictable system that will simplify the safety argument with respect to maximum execution time while striving to increase the performance with multicore processors. T-CREST looks at time-predictable solutions for processors, the memory hierarchy, the on-chip interconnect, and the compiler. T-CREST is a 3 year project, funded by the EC. It has just passed the first year. In this talk I will give an overview of the T-CREST project, the individual sub-projects, and present some early results on the on-chip interconnect and the processor research.
