Learn java language and designing a base class
I started the project 3 weeks ago after my trip back to China. So far, I have
basicly read thru "java in 21 days" and "C++ with Object Oriented Programming".I am feeling much comfortable about java programming language now. I am also
looking into the the sample code provided in some java books as well as the
source code for Digsim and FSM editor. I am going to talk to Serena to learn
more about the class structure of the FSM editor. I will also talk to Michael
to learn about the some basics about implementing a base class for my wizard.
writing the code for the UI element
I am currently writing the java code for the UI element of the decision tree.
Although I have not decided what kind of function the decision tree will perform, I will decide very soon after I talk to other member in the group.
Projected goal at the end of summer
I think this will be more clear after I define the function of the decision tree. I am pretty sure I will have finished a beta version of the wizard class and
written a sample application based on the class. I will also look into the possibilities of combining the wizard with the overall WELD architecture.
