Cutoff theorem
A transition instance t’ is a cutoff if
- its basic marking is the same as that of another (already built) instance t”
- the cardinality of LC of t’ is larger than that of LC of t”
McMillan’s theorem (‘93):
- Let U be an unfolding obtained by truncating the occurrence net of a PN N at every cutoff transition
- the set of basic markings of U covers the set of markings of N
