Dr. J. Ebergen

Jo Ebergen became interested in self-timed design in 1982, while an international student at Caltech. He found the topic so fascinating that he decided to make it the focus of his PhD. After earning his PhD from Eindhoven University in the Netherlands, he taught at Waterloo University in Canada, where he started a research group on asynchronous design. Since 1996, he is a member of the asynchronous systems group at SunLabs. In spring 1998 he taught a course on asynchronous circuit design at Stanford University.
