Prof. Elizabeth Rudnick


Elizabeth M. Rudnick received the B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1983, 1990, and 1994, respectively. She has worked at Motorola, Sunrise Test Systems, and Advanced Micro Devices in the areas of design verification, test generation, computer-aided design, and yield enhancement. She is currently an Assistant Professor in the Center for Reliable and High-Performance Computing and the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Illinois. Her research interests include test generation, fault diagnosis, design verification, and design for testability. She has coauthored with Prof. Pinaki Mazumder the book "Genetic Algorithms for VLSI Design, Layout, and Test Automation," Prentice Hall (to appear).
