Prof. David Harris


David Harris is Assistant Professor of Engineering at Harvey Mudd College. He received his Ph.D. from Stanford in 1999 and his S.B. and M.Eng. degrees from MIT in 1994. His research interests are in the area of high speed digital CMOS circuit design and microprocessors. He has worked and consulted at Sun Microsystems, Intel Corporation, Evans & Sutherland, and HAL Computer. David is the coauthor with Ivan Sutherland and Bob Sproull of Logical Effort: Desiging Fast CMOS Circuits. When not teaching or building chips, he can usually be found mountaineering.
