Information for Speakers
Electronic Systems Design SeminarDirections to the UCB Campus from the SF International Airport are given here. A map of the campus can be found here. Useful information for visitors (in particular, directions for reaching the campus) can be found here.
We will arrange a one day parking permit for you, which you can pick up at the East Gate (just off Gayley Road). This permit allows you to park in the lot behind Stanley Hall, or on the 4th or 5th floors of the parking structure across Hearst Avenue from Cory.
We provide an overhead LCD projector, a 35mm slide projector, a white board, and a big screen display linked to a DEC 5000 workstation as well as to a Windows/NT machine. We can also project the display of your notebook computer directly onto the big screen display of the conference room. Please check with us for details about this.
When you arrive at Cory Hall, proceed to the 5th floor. You can call Trevor Meyerowitz (510-642-6486), Chidamber Kulkarni (510-642-2596), Rupak Majumdar (510-642-6841), Christian Sauer (510-642-2346) or Flora Oviedo (510-642-1792) from the phone outside Room 545. If you are dialing from a campus phone, simply dial the last 5 digits of the campus phone number.
Your talk would start at 4:00pm and last about 50 minutes, and then be followed by a complimentary dinner with students and/or professors. The audience will primarily consist of faculty and graduate students involved in a wide range of research for electronic system designs. We may also arrange a focused discussion for you with some of our research groups and faculy members before or after the seminar. In that case, please let us know in advance.
Comments and questions can be addressed to the organizers.
