The Multiscale Systems Center (MuSyC) is one of six national research centers chartered by the Focus Center Research Program, administered by the Microelectronics Advanced Research Consortium (MARCO).

The Focus Centers are funded by the U.S. Department of Defense (DARPA), U.S. companies in the Semiconductor Industry Association (SIA), and Semiconductor Equipment and Materials International (SEMI). MARCO and DARPA jointly manage the overall program. Each Focus Center has one lead school, and many member schools.

In addition, our research is carried out in conjunction with a number of affiliated research organizations including the Berkeley Wireless Research Center. We also work very closely with a number of the MARCO member companies, listed on the Sponsors page.
