The Center director, associate director, and theme leads form the Executive Com- mittee (EC) of the Center, which will have monthly phone conferences as well as inperson meetings as needed. The function of the EC is to review the research and operational functions of TSRC and to advise Center leadership. It assists in the evaluation of technical progress and makes recommendations for the adoption of new research projects, the inclusion of new researchers, and the phase-out of completed or less-productive activities. The EC will play a critical role in the evolution of the Center by helping set the TerraSwarm research agenda and the distribution of research funding among the various projects within the Center. Since collaboration with other FCRP centers is an essential part of this effort, representatives of other established centers will be invited to serve on the TerraSwarm EC.
