| Jan Rabaey has been a pioneer in the development of low-energy distributed systems, including paradigm-shifting projects such as the Infopad (early 1990's) and PicoRadio (late 1990s). He has been directing a number of efforts related to TSRC - including the FCRP funded GSRC and MuSyC centers, and the newly-founded Berkeley Swarm Lab. He has been a vocal advocate of the Swarm Concept and its underlying principles over the past few years through keynote and invited presentations at leading international conferences and industry fora. |
