Tycho/Ptolemy II

Ptolemy II is a simulation tool written in Java. It is the second-generation version of the successful Ptolemy project.

Tycho is a large user-interface framework for Ptolemy written entirely in [incr Tcl]/[incr Tk]. Assuming we get everything working on Windows NT before then, we'll be using Tycho and Ptolemy II as a demonstration of a large "real-world" system built using the combination of Tcl/Tk and Java.
