| Bio: | Alan Kamas has been an independent consultant for over a decade on a wide range of projects including System on a Chip simulation models, multiprocessor embedded firmware, algorithms for satellite cellular, and control systems for biomedical sensors.
Before starting his consulting business, Alan was the original Ptolemy project manager at UC Berkeley for the C++ based Ptolemy I program.
Before Ptolemy, Alan developed digital cellular algorithms and firmware at Teknekron and lived and worked abroad in the CAD department at Sony in Japan.
Alan has an MSEE degree from UC Berkeley and a BS in Electrical and Computer Engineering from UCSB. |
