He received his M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from the Eindhoven University of Technology, The Netherlands, in August 2002. He carried out his first traineeship, entitled 'Data acquisition system for passive emergency systems', at Eindhoven University of Technology. For his second traineeship he participated the European robot contest for autonomous robots EUROBOT 2001, as a participant of the Eindhoven team.
