Abstract
In this poster, we provide a brief overview of the actuation design mechanisms developed in our group. Among these, we show how can we generically determine leaders to attain a minimum cost configuration, or how to determine the minimum collection of these in a fully distributed setting. In addition, we consider the trade-offs between the minimum actuation required to control a dynamical system and its energy performance/requirements. Some illustrative examples provide an understanding of the diverse nature of applications and future research directions.
