Abstract
The objective of this project is to study 60 GHz indoor propagation characteristics and the effect of directionality on the performance of indoor 60 GHz mesh networks, a potential high speed directional wireless network solution for swarm applications. A selection of questions this project hopes to answer are: - How much path diversity is really present? - What is the typical amount of multipath interference experienced? - What is the end-to-end throughput of directional mesh network? - How do these metrics change with beam width?
