Abstract
As an emerging technology, autonomous driving vehicles are being developed by many companies as with Google's robotic car, Apple's electric car, Uber's self-driving car and BMW's work with Intel and Mobileye for the development of driverless car technology. The advantages are abundant. However, the fatal crash with a self-driving Tesla and a nonfatal accident for Uber creates skepticism that the technology has progressed far enough for the government to approve cars that totally drives themselves.
