Team for Research in
Ubiquitous Secure Technology

Education

TRUST is focused on the development of cybersecurity science and technology that will radically transform the ability of organizations to design, build, and operate trustworthy information systems for the nation's critical infrastructure. TRUST education focuses on integrating trustworthy technologies, systems, and policy into learning opportunities for High school, undergraduate, and graduate students and junior faculty.

OBJECTIVES

Education is a core value for all TRUST initiatives. Our goal is to:

  • Increase the participation of underrepresented students in undergraduate and graduate research in the fields of security, privacy, and trustworthy systems;
  • Partner with educational institutions serving under-represented populations to engage students from diverse backgrounds and to prepare these students for careers in computer science and engineering;
  • Engage the public in understanding the intersection of privacy and security with technology choices;
  • Develop educational tools and modules for teaching courses on cyber security and privacy.

TRUST education initiatives are focused on high school students, undergraduate students, graduate students, post docs, and faculty.
