Parameters:

payload - the byte payload received from the MQTT broker.

Return the next token in the byte stream or null if there is none left.

Returns:

the next token or null if there is none left

Throws:

java.io.IOException - if there is a problem reading the byte stream

IllegalActionException - if there is a problem loading a token handler
