• Are they difficult to conceptualize?
• Do they make the product easier to learn?
• Do they make it easier to use?
• Does the metaphor combine multiple aspects of command/control?
• Are the metaphors easily extensible?
• How many are used?
• Do they add appeal, make the product more memorable?
• Do they misdirect or deceive?
