Metaphor "design"

Adding depth to the desktop:

• Shallow background of typical desktop
• Deeper background such as the ocean: catching fish.
• Outer space. Visiting star systems or planets.
• Prairie landscape. Lassooing cattle. Yee-hah!

Different metaphors for different groups:

• Engineer: laboratory workbench
• Homeowner: kitchen counter, closet
• Shopper: market, mall
• Biker gang: twist-grip, fringes
