Dial-up settings

Select Dialup networking from the Start menu, via Programs then Accessories. NT will install dial-up networking software off the CD-ROM.

Restart.

Copy the dial-up script, ntannex.scp, to c:\Winnt\system32\ras\ntannex.scp. Select Dialup networking again. Create a new phone number, then when the Dial-up Networking window appears again, click on the More button and select Edit Entry and Modem properties. Here are bean's settings:

Plug into the nearest phone line and try it! Note: when you dial, enter your PPP user name and password, not your Unix or NT user name and password.
